TRADITIONAL MALAY FOOD

Lemang

Bamboo cylinder or "lemang" is traditional dish that is liked by many. Bamboo cylinder is sold throughout the year, especially when is more popular festivals like Eid and al-adha. Usually we eat with the shandy bamboo cylinder or "rendang".

Roti canai

Bread roller or better known as roti canai was quite popular among Malaysian. It is eaten with curry sauce gravy dal but more delicious when we enter floss meat or chicken in gravy. 


Nasi lemak
Nasi lemak also among the popular, there is rice, chicken fat, meat, fish, eggs, squid, and shellfish.


Curry mee

Curry mee is a dish that is unique to Malaysia, usually made up of thin yellow egg noodles/string thin mee- hoon (rice vermicelli) with spicy curry soup, chili/sambal, coconut milk and a choice of dried tofu, prawns, cuttlefish, chicken, egg and mint leaves. In certain places in Southeast Asia, especially Southern Singapore, it is called curry laksa (malay: laksa kari).
